After Big Lots he took me to Michaels. I was in search of something particular thought Michaels would have it. I love this store. Every time I walk in I get distracted by the new products on CLEARANCE. Enjoyed looking at the Halloween decorations. Purchased a 3 pound bag of paper (different colors, different sizes only $4) and Ray found this shirt!
Late afternoon we went down to the pool to relax.
Saturday night we had a date night. We bowled at the local Camden Lanes. Dined at the Lanes, I ordered a personal pan pizza (just can't get enough pizza since my vacation, nothing compares to Main Street) and Ray ordered a hamburger with fries. We shared. We bowled 3 games, here they charge by the hour.
Sunday, we invited our friends the Nelsons to Awaken church with us. Pastor Jay had such a great sermon. He spoke on the roles of husband and wives. Today was spent on the role of husbands.
My Notes:
-Roles are inverse-able because they reflect Jesus the church
-Head carries out leadership
-Jesus took responsibility
-Husbands need to take responsibility

-Leadership is protecting
-Spiritual Protection
a.pray for your family
b. set standards
c. resolve anger and bitterness
d. don't go to bed mad
e. quick to ask forgiveness
-Leadership is providing
a. initiate prayer with your wife
b. be aware of your financial
-Leadership is honoring
a. showing honor to your wife
b. honor her verbally, to her, and about her
-Forget and forgive the past

After church, Ray had a guys day and I had a girls day. I had lunch with the Nelson's at their home and visited for a while. Afterward, I came home to do light cleaning, vacuuming and laundry. Relaxed on the couch watching a Netflix movie on the computer, Did you Meet the Morgans? Was cute, more of a chick flick.
Starting scrap-booking when Ray came home with flowers and packages of sushi for dinner.
We enjoyed the rest of the evening with one another. Yay, for another wonderful weekend!

Hey Bubba! I LOVE that you found some good deals and had such a fun weekend! Thanks for sharing the sermon too, that was some awesome stuff! I am sad we didn't get to see each other, too, but hopefully we will soon!!! My phone is dead and I left my charger at work so might not be able to call until Tuesday...since we are off tomorrow! Yay! Hope your training goes well! LOVE YA!
