The Noticer by: Andy Andrews-Book Review

Remember in my previous post I had talked about the book, The Noticer by Andy Andrews, and how I said it was sooooo good. Well, here is a few lines from the book that really hit home with me.

It is in the valley that we slog through the lush grass and rich soil, learning and becoming what enables us to summit life's next peak.

Others peoples experience is the best teacher.

But a grateful perspective brings happiness and abundance into a persons life.

When we are happy and enthusiastic, other people enjoy being around you.

When a person is negative, complaining and disagreeable other people stay away.

What is it about me that other people would change if they could. (sometimes I have to look at my myself and ask).

True friends holds you to a higher standard.

Things aren't as bad as they seem. (we all have to remind ourselves)

Problem is a matter of perspective.

Its time to stop letting your history control your destiny.

Smart people are generally more creative and imaginative than dumb people.

List things in your life your grateful for.

A true friend will be honest with you however if you request it.

You family, true friends, they have been placed in your life for a reason. They can help you gain perspective or whatever situation your in.

If you are still here then you have not completed what you were put on earth to do.

No matter your age, physical condition, financial situation, color, gender, emotional state, or belief, everything you do every move you make, matters to all of us, and forever.

Time is precious, and you have much to do.

Be wise to sweat the small stuff.

That your big picture will never be a masterpiece if you ignore the tiny brushstrokes you are trying so hard to be successful that true success is eluding you.

Forgiveness is about the past.
Trust and respect are about the future.
Trust and respect are in your own hands.

People are the delivery vehicle for opportunity and encouragement.

Even your worst times have value and become in retrospect your best times.

After reading these lines from the book, I hope it doesn't turn you away from reading the book. I hope it turns you to read the book. Its such a great story.

Love ya Bubba
