Everyone in the Grienke household had gotten up early to be ready to leave early to go pick up Jennah from summer camp. Her camp was held at Spring Hill, about 2 1/2 hours away from Okeomos. We all pile in the car, ready to go, stop for gas, Jess starts pumping, goes into the store to get snacks, comes back, and it won't start.
Jess does well not to freak out. She calls her friend that lives close by to see if she can come to jump us. But as shes on her way, Jess turns off the air and the car starts. How bizarre, but it worked. But we decided not to take the van, in case it wouldn't start.
We arrived to see Jennah in her circle with her friends. As she noticed Jessie and the kids, she starting pouring out with tears and relief she was going home and how great of an experience she had. The kids were happy to have her back at home
After arriving back in Okemos, I borrowed Jennah's car to visit my girlfriends back in H Town. We all met at Leslie's house, so we could see her baby, a secluded place to talk and catch up with one another. It had been about 2 years since we had all been together, so we were due!
