Regina got Reina ready for preschool. Seeing her getting ready for school early in the morning reminded her of me. Hated the morning, loved my beauty sleep, but had to wake up and go to school. I tried to talk to her or take her picture and she wasn’t having it. She got her hair done in the saloon (in the basement of her house). Regina does the kids’ hair every morning that way. They enjoy it.
After the kiddos were ready for school it was my turn. Told her what I wanted and she delivered. If you know me I love big hair with lots of VOLUME! She was giving me tips on how to tease and how to get the best VOLUME! Well it worked because as Paul would say I looked like one of the b52’s. My hair wasn’t going anywhere with all the TRIPLE hold HAIRSPRAY!
My sister Jess picked me up to go to Carters basketball camp award ceremony. She was stunned and so were the boys. The camp he was in was lead by the Detroit Pistons. Carter didn’t get a trophy today but he did get a trophy the first day for FREE THROWS! He is gonna be just like his daddy, a FANTASTIC BALL PLAYER! But he did get a poster with the RULES of basketball, and Detroit Pistons basketball, FREE tickets to a game, a yearbook, and he got to get his picture taken with his coach wearing a championship ring.
Later, after lunch and games we went to Celebration Cinema to see Despicable Me. It was Carter, Hudson, I and we met Reina and Kent. Told them they either could have popcorn or candy. Of course they all chose candy but luckily they wanted the same and could share. Kent and Hudson shared Twizzlers. Carter and Reina shared Reese's Pieces. I also, got two drinks one for me and one for the kids. Throughout the movie, filled a couple time and took Hudson to the bathroom once. They all enjoyed the movie.
Came back to the Grienke household to Cottage Inn Pizza and bonding time with the kids. Read them each their own book and it was bedtime.
When Jess arrived home, it was time to get my new haircut. Since, my last one was back in March this spring. It was time. I showed her a few pictures of what I wanted, and again, she delivered, she made it come reality, my new cute stylish hairstyle! I was so excited and felt lighter. All the hair is GONE!
