Wednesday

I got up to a wonderful breakfast made my sister, scrambled eggs with eggs and onion, toast, and fruit. Everyone enjoyed. The kids and I went outside to play on the swing set before Kent had to go to school. The bus came, Kent was ready to go, learn, and to climb over the fence like a big man. I got to see him get on the school bus, it was the cutest. He climbed up there with no fears and ready to face the world.

While he was at school, Reina (his younger sister) , Eileen (his newer youngest sister, and Abby (a kid my sister babysits) played games, dress up. Regina made lunch: hamburger helper, cut up cucumber, kiwi and apples. After lunch it was time for the girls to have a nap. Abby wasn’t ready for a nap but deep down she was tired.

Kent arrived back home about fourish. Showed me his new book he had to read “Something about an Ailen”. He gets a new book every day that he has to read. His dad reads it to him every night, by telling him the title, author, what the title page is, where the story starts, the end, the cover, the back and etc. It was so cute to see.

Spaghetti is what’s for dinner, in the Wood household, prepared by Kent and Regina. Kent made his famous sauce and noodles. Regina made a fruit salad as well as a regular salad. All of it was great! The sauce was amazing. Dessert was done by Bubba: ice cream from Meijer (Birthday Cake for the kiddos, and a Candy Bar one for the adults) and brownies by Betty Crocker made by Kent.

After our wonderful dessert we all went downstairs to play games and to be in the cool air. This game is best if you play it with lots of teams but it was Regina and I against Kent and the kids. Surprisingly, Regina and I won the game! Yay for us!
Being the WINNERS was GREAT but it was time for bed. Reina and I had girl time since Kent wanted to sleep in his own bed. Told Reina two stories with the flashlight and we said a little prayer before bed.
