Friday night when Ray got out of work we (I) drove back to Anderson for the holiday weekend. Also, to see Bill (Ray's dad). He came back home for a visit from Texas. When we arrived at our house our new furry friend was there to meet and greet us. Its our neighbors black cat. He is so cute, cuddly and lovable. Ray said if we didn't already have two cats we would keep that one. I was so excited to see our lawn was mowed by our neighbors, thanks so much Neil. If it wasn't for him our yard would have looked red-necked. You know, grass so tall you could find a vehicle out there. We both were so grateful!
We made it inside. The house didn't look that bad but was in need of touch up cleaning. Ray went directly to the refrigerator, everything was bad. We sat at the table going through all our mail. It felt like Christmas but no as exciting. Bills, junk, magazines and etc.
After throwing everything away in the fridge. We were both in need of a snack. I settled for a banana and dry cereal; Ray settled for a bowl of soup. Then off to bed to start a new day.
