Ray and I had a spur of the moment opportunity this weekend to go visit my brother and his family in NC this past weekend. Originally, I wasn't able to go due to my test I was supposed to be taking on Saturday but they pushed it to Monday since they gave me the wrong book to study from and they gave me the right book on Thursday. So, when I had gotten home from watching the Nelson kids, I asked Ray if we could surprise Brittney for her 16th birthday.
And he said: YES!!! I was so excited! The next morning I immediately texted Liane to let her know we would be on our way but made sure she wouldn't tell anyone we were coming.
That morning went to the store for cookie dough. I bought three different kinds: peanut butter, sugar cookie and chocolate chip. You can't have a party without cookies.
So after Ray got home from work and I got home from watching the Nelson's we were on the road to NC! Yay, so excited! We finally arrived between 9-9:30ish. Instantly I ran to the bathroom (hadn't peed in 2 1/2 hours) had to go, like NOW!
One of my nieces noticed I had arrived, Courtney. She told me to stay in the bathroom so Brittney wouldn't see me...so we waited until she went back outside in the back yard. Then Courtney took me out where she was, and she was ECSTATIC, so SURPRISED! I was happy the SURPRISE didn't get out!
