Ray has called me a few times and has texted me since my last post. Sorry for not posting his updates sooner but I was out of town visiting my family and did not take my laptop and didn't have internet service. Some of you were wondering if he ever received his luggage, and yes he did receive his luggage either Friday. He was very excited to have his own clothes as well as his snacks from home. But before he got his luggage from the airport he did have to go buy clothes for the meantime. The clothes he did purchase were size 3X that is the equivalent form our size to theirs (my man isn't big but I guess the Chinese think us Americans are very obese).
His time in China is going better than he expected. Where Ray is at in China he said "It's like Manhattan in New York, it's very nice, there is no houses anywhere just big buildings, you can walk places or you can take a taxi". He also said there is a Lamborghini dealership in his hotel. Can you even imagine? I know I can't. His hotel is very nice. He told me the dealership sold one of the cars, can you guess how much it sold for? You will never guess. It sold for $600,000.00! Can you even imagine having that much money or even being able to get a loan for that much? Not me.
They are working six days a week but only working half days on Saturdays. After his work day on Friday he played basketball with his coworkers outside. Unfortunately he did get a little sun burnt but he said he was buying sun screen the next day.
Sunday being their day off Ray and some of his coworkers went to the zoo. He said he enjoyed walking around but did say they did have many unique animals you don't usually see every day.
He is having a great time better than what he expected. When he calls or texts I will continue to keep you updated on his time in China.
