[Weekend Spent With the Mixon's]

Thursday
The morning got my bags packed and ready to get on I-20 toward Salemburg NC to see my brother and his family for the weekend. They invited me for a long weekend and I couldn't wait to see my nieces and of course my sister-n-law Liane and my brother David. We didn't get to the beach till the evening just in time for dinner and some quick shopping.

Friday
Liane and Brittney had to get up early to head back to Clinton. Liane had to go to work and Brittney had to attend her last day of school. She had to give her senior project presentation and Liane had to work.

Us girls that were left behind (Ashley, Courtney, Delaney and myself) spent the morning having a spa day. I gave each of them manicures, pedicures and facials. After the rain had gone away and the sunshine appeared we were beach bound.

After our relaxing time at the beach we came home to Liane cooking dinner (spaghetti our favorites). Then stayed up late having girl talk and watching the Disney channel.

Saturday
Us girls (Ashley, Courtney, Delaney and myself) and all slept in while Liane met the Parkers to go yard selling. She got up around 6am which I thought it was too early for me but next time I'll go with the hard core shoppers.

We all arrived to the beach mid morning in time for the beautiful rays of sun. After playing in the waves with Courtney and Delaney we had a big surprise! Brittney showed up. We were so excited to have her there with us.

Sunday
Brittney left early for church and Ashley left Saturday afternoon since she had to be at work early in the morning which left only four at the beach house. We being (Liane, Courtney, Delaney and myself) arrived at the beach about 11am and didn't leave till 4pm. We all had a great time and can't wait to go back.

On our way home we stopped at the church to see the youth. Then we all gathered at the church parking lot to eat McDonald's and to fellowship.




Monday
My last day with the Mixon's. The morning when the younger girls (Courtney and Delaney) were at school me and the older girls (Ashley and Brittney) had a great time bonding. Today was my brother's 19th wedding anniversary and all went out to Salem Pizza to celebrate.

A special thanks to the Mixon's for inviting me and spending time with me. I had such a great time and fun creating new memories with the ones I love most. Can't wait to see y'all again and to make many more memories.
