Merry Christmas

My nieces woke me up at 6:30am to open presents but it felt so much earlier than that. They came in turned the lights on and were trying to wake me up. As I realized the light was on, I said "Turn the light off and I will be out there in just a few minutes". The funny part about this is that they do this every year and Ray doesn't wake up for but the funny part is that Brittney my 16 year old niece was the first to wake up and had to wake up the 6 year old so she and her sisters could open presents.

We usually go one kid at a time to open all their presents from Santa but this year we rotated from kid to kid.

Here is pictures from the morning:

Brittney opening her big brown box
(at the bottom of the box was socks she was dissappointed when she saw them since she had been hoping for an I-Pod. But she noticed there was something in the socks and it was her I-Pod she was hoping for.

Delaney opening her presents
(she received a lot of dress up stuff as well as makeup)

Ashley received a purse
(her favorite, the bigger the better)

Courtney opening her presents

After getting up so early, I went back to bed for a nap before the Christmas festivities were to begin.

After dinner it was hours spent playing Monopoly and Risk. If you've never played either games be prepared to be at the table for hours. I think we played Monopoly for at least 2 hours and Risk for at least 3 or 4 hours.
