Christmas Eve with the Edwards/Mixon Families

This Christmas Eve I wanted it to be special. We (Ray and I) didn't have to work on Christmas Eve so I wanted it to be special by stopping at Cracker Barrel on my way to my brothers house for breakfast. I thought it would be special...but it just took forever and forever.

By being in the service industry I understand on hard and frustrating it can be. But I'm not kidding we had the NEWEST server, I'm sure of. We waited at least an 1 1/2 for our food. And we watched other guests sit down with different servers get their food and leave before we even got ours. It was terrible! Next time I'll remember not to go on Christmas Eve morning. It wasn't a good experience and also I was starving.

Here is a picture of Ray playing the game at the table and deep down he is saying, "SERIOUSLY"! And I'm saying "Yes I'm taking your picture, please smile, but no smile".

Christmas Eve is tradition at the Mixon household. We all go to my sister-n-law's Aunt (Mammy) and Uncle (TL's) home for dinner. My nieces friend Tony Michelle joined us with her family as well as Ashley's boyfriend Reese.

After opening up presents it was time for the kids to go home and Santa to begin his night.
