Day 4 Our Last Day with Shawn Mikaela

Shawn & Kaela had gotten up early to go to the Jockey Lot to see what kind of puppies they had. Shawn had seen a puppy there yesterday that she had liked but it wasn't a Yorkie so she wasn't sure what to do but it was within her price range. She wanted to go early before church to get her new puppy before someone else bought it.

Ray started breakfast. Making pancakes. I started the dishes and there Shawn and Kaela pulled in the driveway. Saw them get out of the car and there it was our new addition to the family, her new baby, puppy. No it wasn't a Yorkie, can you guess what kind of puppy it is?

Its a Chitzu. She is adorable and tiny. When she brought her in the house the cats didn't know what to think. Milo thought it was his new baby. He would sit in front of the crate and guard it. If Alex would come over to look at the new puppy Milo would hiss at him. When Shawn would take her out to go potty Milo would go and sit in the crate. Alex didn't really care for the new puppy. I think Milo was acting like the dad like Alex did when we got Milo. He was being very protective.

After church and the thunderstorm we went on the boat again. Hoping we wouldn't get stuck in rain and we didn't. The water was so calm. Think its because no boats were out. The dogs again were excited and anxious to make it to the island and this one was bigger than the one yesterday. So they had more to explore. After the island, Bill took us for a nice Sunday pontoon boat ride. It was nice, quiet, and relaxing. Thanks Bill & Barb.

Shawn & Mikaela thank you so much for coming down to visit. Ray and I both love having company and hope that you will come again soon. We love you both and hope and pray that you have a safe trip home.
