Day 2 with Shawn Mikaela

I introduced Shawn & Mikaela to the Goodwill Clearance Center store. This store is not like any other Goodwill that you've been to. It has big bins after big that are pretty deep full of clothes. Nothing is labeled by size or gender you just have to dig. You get a cart that has a plastic bag, and your put all your treasures inside. And the best part you pay by the pound. As the girls walked in they were amazed.

We got our carts and started digging for our treasures. The girls were excited to see all the unique kinds of clothing they have. Such as: this platinum gold skirt and and coat! As well as old style dresses, a metallic flag jacket and well as many more. Just use your imagination. It was hilarious! Then we noticed as we were digging one of the ladies had put it in her cart. lol!

Shawn got 34 items and only paid $17.00. She got a bag full of clothes, books, a pop up basketball net.

Bubba got 23 items and only paid $14.25. She got a bag full of clothes for myself and a few for Ray.

Mikaela got 4 or 5 items and only paid $3. She got a few T-shirts.

After our adventure of digging for new treasures Bill took us out for lunch to Chick-Fil-A. Shawn ordered the famous chicken nuggets, Mikaela ordered the famous #1 sandwich with waffle fries, Bubba ordered char-grilled chicken sandwich with the fruit cup, Bill ordered the club sandwich with col slaw. Thanks Bill for the wonderful lunch.

Then it was on our way to Garden Ridge to look for spices for Uncle Steve and also to meet Ray. I hadn't seen him in a week but it felt a lot longer than that. We browsed around for a while. We bought a new stand for our laptop. Now no more using the cookie sheet! Yay, for us.

Heres pictures of us before we got dinner ready.

The evening was spent at home with the family. We invited Bill & Barb over for dinner. Dinner consisted of: Ray's famous pork chops on the grill, corn casserole, baked mashed potatoes, rolls, and again banana pudding pie for dessert. After dinner we played domino's (Barb taught Bill & I) and sequence. It was nice to spend time with family.
