Aramark End of the Year Party

Yesterday was Aramark's appreciation party for the employees. The party was held at the bowling alley here in Anderson. The food consisted of: turkey sandwich, chips, fruit, mac & cheese, chicken, and sodas. When we finished our lunch it was time to start bowling. We had to get into teams with 4 people on each team and only the employees could be on a team together since the prizes were just for the employees. On my team it was Gary (one of the supervisors at Java City) a lady from the Canteen, and a lady from one of the dining halls. Y'all would not believe this. I ended up bowling one of the highest scores of my lifetime which was a 169 ended up being the high score overall. Whoever had the high score as a team each one a $50 gift card to Wal-Mart. Guess What???? Yes that was ME, can you BELIEVE IT!!!! Time to go shopping NOW.

After bowling it was time to see who won EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH! Who was it gonna be? As they were announcing who it was, they read a letter pertaining to the winner. And as they were reading I realized it wasn't me. But I'm glad the person that won it, did. Because she is very dedicated to her job and loves it.

Then it was time for the door-prizes. Was I gonna win anything!!! Hoping I was. They kept calling numbers and they would be off by one number on my ticket. As they got down to last item to give away....again close but not close enough.

I didn't end up winning a door-prize but I am happy with winning what I got.
