Starting Over

Why is starting over so hard?
Moving away from our family and friends 6 years ago to start over in Anderson, SC
Ray got a new job as an engineer at Electrolux
I got a job as an Admin at a local hotel
Only 6 months later the Pargon Company left me looking for a new job
In the meantime I had meaningless jobs
Untill the summer of 2008 Clemson University took me in
Then right before Christmas the company that brought us to Anderson had laid Ray off
Lead him to being a salesman
Till the fall of 2009 they had to do more budget cuts and left me looking again
The Java City in the Cooper Library at Clemson was my new position as night supervisor
Till our prayers were answered Ray bagged a new job
Which lead us to starting over, yet again moving to a new city called: Camden
This has been our new location for the past 3 years and we hope it will be our last
Yet again, I've had a handful of jobs since we've been here but I hope this new 1 is my last
Even though starting over is hard its probably what we need to grow
Everyone needs a clean slate with a fresh start
But as you do it every 2 years it gets harder to settle and not be fearful that things are gonna stay the same or change yet again
Living with so much change in my life its hard to know whats here to stay and whats gone tomorrow
Starting over may be scary but why don't we look at it as a second chance and not that we failed but a new opportunity!
