River Front Park
The first nice weekend we got we took our bikes to the River Front Park in downtown Columbia. It was a beautiful sunshine day with birds chirping, the river had white caps, and the gently breeze kept me cool. Riding on the trails was so peaceful and at the same time relaxing. Enjoying quality time together with nature makes you forget everything.
We rode our bikes around the trails for a few hours and were ready for a break. Ray packed a lunch filled with sandwiches, gorilla bars, and water to keep us energized. Our lunch was spent at a table overlooking the river in the sun. Over lunch we enjoyed people watching and enjoyed each other. Till next time at River Front Park!

Makes me want spring to come even sooner -- seems like old man winter has his grip on Michigan a little too long this year!! lol I bought a new bike last fall and haven't even taken it for a spin yet --- maybe when the more than a foot of snow finally melts and the mud goes away -- I'll take her for a ride.
