The first few days wtih my in-laws

Family bonding time with my in-laws:

Shawn (my sister-in-law) and Janice (mine mother-in-law) arrived late Friday night. On their ride down they stopped at an Army base in Kentucky to drop a friend of the family off. They had a lot of rain and bad weather but then they finally hit South Carolina where nothing can be finer.

Saturday morning started our treasure hunting at the local thrift and antique stores here in Camden. I've been wanting to go tour them but its never as fun going by yourself. One of the stores we were in it started raining hard, the wind starting blowing like crazy able to blow the front door opened and breaking it. There was tornado watches but nothing too crazy happened here in Camden.

Below is pictures from our treasures we found:

Sunday we started off with a brisk morning walk with all three of us and Bella around our neighborhood. Bella is not used to having a leash on due to her house being near the woods and having a bigger lot which gives her freedom to run and be free. But Shawn (her mama) knowing that she would be in a new neighborhood knew she had to be on a leash. While our stroll she would go around all the mailboxes or light posts while getting all tangled up. It was cute but hopefully she will manage how the leash works by the end of the week.

Before we left for church Janice helped me cook breakfast: sausage egg cheese biscuits. They were very delicious.

Worship at Awaken was AWESOME! We are still doing our Christ Alone series but I feel as it is approaching Easter it makes this series more and more exciting to be a Christian.

After our awesome time at Awaken we browsed through a new thrift store before we hit our favorite Goodwill Clearance Center (this one is not as good as the one in Greenville but we still found some treasures)and we found the Flea Market. Then ate at Wing Shack here in Camden for dinner.

Monday we hit a few more thrift stores as well as antique stores and the Historic Revolutionary War site. We ate lunch Charlies on Broad downtown. Unfortunately we had to our bargain shopping early due to me going to work at 5PM. During my shift my last table were total jerks. As I greeted them they asked me if I was single, which I said "NO" then they said "can we get a single person" I said "NO PROBLEM". Luckily they left, because they were total JERKS!

Tuesday we hit more antique stores and drove around the historic Camden looking at all the big houses. Our evening was spent with a wonderful meal prepared by Janice and Shawn and ended with watching movies instantly on Netflix.

Wednesday we went back to the Historic Revolutionary War site to tour the Plantation house which was disappointing because we only toured four rooms of the whole house and wasn't able to go upstairs on the balcony or downstairs. Then we went to Ginza to meet Ray for lunch. After our delicious cheap lunch it was back to the house to get Bella and head to the Quaker Cemetery then ended our excursion with a visit to a new thrift store we found.

Tomorrow is new adventures and memories to make in Columbia. We plan on going to the Riverbanks Zoo and listening to live music downtown.

Love ya
Bubba
