Day 2 with the McAlvey's

Today we decided to stay around Camden until Ray got home from work. We started our day off at the Revolutionary War Site right here in Camden. We were hoping to get there for the tour but I read it wrong on the internet. There were only 2 one at 10:30 and 3:00. So we decided to tour on our own. We were able to tour most all the houses besides the Plantation house you needed to buy tickets for that, so we just looked through the windows and in the backyard.

After our trip at the war site we decided to go to Sonic for lunch and for a cold treat for dessert. For those of you that live in the north you may know that Sonic restaurants are very limited. Since this was Alyssa's first time to South Carolina, we had to a special stop.

On our way home after Sonic we made a special stop at Piggly Wiggly. Alyssa had scene it on one of her favorite movies and didn't really know if there really was one. Again had to make a special stop. I had to show her the meat department (they sell unusual things, like chicken feet) very weird but true.

When Ray arrived home he played baseball with Asher in the backyard.

We tried a new Japanese restaurant here in town. They have fresh sushi as well as the entrees. It was all delicious. Asher had the wonderful opportunity of trying chopsticks for the first time. He had to bring them home to save to use for the next day.

We ended the night for Monopoly card game and Thomas the train movie for Asher.
