(community group is where we meet at someones house to dig deeper into the Bible and to get to know each other better than just on Sunday).
Within the last month I joined a Bible study. I do have to admit that I was really nervous about going since I only knew one person. But Ray kept pushing me to go so I could meet girls close to my age so I could make friends. It seems crazy I'm 25 years old and still trying to make friends. Its hard when you move to a new area not knowing anyone and finding people that you can trust and relate to.
Our bible study was based around the sermons from Sunday mornings from our Pastor, Jay Hardwick. Then our community pastor would create an outline from the sermon and each community group would go deeper into the word. My group was all girls but they had groups to fit everyone.
Two weeks ago was our last session of meeting together for the spring which was a little sad for all of us. But this week we (some of us) all met at Chipolte's for dinner in Columbia. Some of the girls that were in my group are in college and will be returning home for the summer so it was one last goodbye.
Here is pictures from our dinner:
(wasn't able to get a group photo didn't want to embarrass by asking an employee or a stranger to take our photo but there is always next time)

All the studies will begin again in a couple of weeks. They have it planned out by the seasons and you get a few weeks off in between. Looking forward to it starting again.
Love
