Birthday Weekend

Day 1
Friday

This past weekend was an extension to my birthday. My parents drove up from Florida and my brother came with his family. They both arrived Friday. Mom and dad arriving earlier they took me out to lunch at the Armory Steakhouse here in Camden. After our DELICIOUS lunch we ventured out to Wal-mart to pick up a few things. Such as: coffee cups (didn't have any) and also things that my dad and mom had forgotten. Our last stop the carwash.

While we were at the carwash I received a call from Ashley saying that she arrived in Camden and needed directions.

Shortly after my brother arrived with his wife Liane, Brittney, and his youngest Delaney. As my sister-n-law got out of the vehicle she was holding a wreath with flowers. Guess what? It was for me, a present for our new home. Her mom made it and Liane decorated the M. Thank you Mrs. Vickie. Maybe someday you let me in on some of your creative craft ideas.

The evening was spent entertained with board games, playing cards, watching movies on Netflix (due to no cable or direct TV) and with a birthday party celebration with our Nana's famous recipe:Blueberry Delight.

Day 2
Saturday

We began our day with a big breakfast. I had a french toast casserole ready to be put in the oven. Also made scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. My dad brought us fresh oranges/orange juice from his Mixon Fruit Farms in Bradenton Florida where he works during the winter months.

After our hearty meal it was time to get dressed and get on the road toward Columbia to play paintball. It was about an hour drive. During our ride us girls were talking about "what if's" things that would happen on the playing field and how would we react. We were all nervous expect Ray since he had played before.

Our first game we all were excited and anxious at the same time. Our leader (staff memeber) took us to our first playing field. We being (David, Ray, Brittney, Courtney and I) were all on one group. Our first team that we played against were on the same level as us. As the game began it was such a rush, your adreline races as well as your heart, your running so fast trying to hide behind trees or bunkers, and most of all trying not to get hit. During this game I tiptoed up behind the enemy and shot 2 guys. It felt good and was such a rush.

Our first experience doing paintball was a BLAST!

The evening was spent with our family around the table eating tacos for dinner and playing games.

Day 3
Sunday

Our last few hours spent together: playing card games, eating breakfast made my Liane, and catching up with one another as well as saying our goodbyes. Hopefully, we will be able to get together for Easter.
