McCallister's Family Vacation

Day 4
Tuesday December 27th

Today we woke up to everything white. It snowed the night before with leaving 1-2 inches on the ground. As soon as I realized it had snowed, I instantly woke Ray up to tell him. He was not as impressed as I was with the snow. He rolled over and went back to sleep when I immediately went outside to take pictures of the beautiful scenery. It was beautiful.

This was our last day spent with Janice & his sisters until Thursday when we would see them again. Janice made us french toast for breakfast. We all ate it while watching home videos.

A few hours later after we had gotten ready Shawn & Josh arrived with lunch. Josh made seafood pasta with a cream sauce. It was very good. We had time to fit in a couple of games then it was time to get on the road to see the Grienke's.

We arrived mid-afternoon about 3:30PM. The kids were very excited to see us just as we were very excited to see them. Instantlly the boys showed us a game on their Kindles they received for Christmas. It was "Fart Noises" too funny! We were all laughing for awhile.

Little while later I couldn't wait any longer to give the kids their presents. I asked Jess if it was okay, and she asked the kids, they replied with "YES, YES, YES". They opened their presents and I took pictures.

Before dinner we played ping pong, the present Hudson received. Each kid enjoyed it just as much as the other. Ray started making up new rules as he went and the kids enjoyed his way of playing very much.

Dinner was great! Jess made lasagna and garlic bread. Dessert was goodies she made previously. Such as: peanut butter balls, rice krispies, sugar cookies, truffles and many more.

Later on after our stomachs settled all of us played animal charades. I introduced this game to the kids this past August and they enjoyed it very much. This time I got Jess & Jennah to play. Everyone had a great time.

Before we knew it was 10:30PM, past bedtime for the kids. Everyone had a great time but now it was time to get rest for a full day of fun tomorrow.
