Thursday December 29th
We both woke up early so we would have time to visit with the Grienke kids and the Wood kids before driving back to Hubbardston. Before going to Regina's we each had leftover pizza; it was mighty delicious. We stayed at the Grienke's the night before and woke up to visit with the kids before we had to leave.
We visited with my sister Regina and her kids mid-morning-afternoon. We brought our robot Uno game to play. All the kids enjoyed recording their names and hearing what the robot said. Ray invented a new game with my nephews (Nerf Gun) he received for Christmas. They put my nieces small pound puppies on a toy on the chair and started shooting the puppies. Ray thought our niece would have a problem with them shooting her puppies but she was up for it.
We stayed for a few hours then it was time to drive to Hubbardston to a family party. It was Ray's aunt's retirement party. The party was held at her home. As we drove down the driveway we noticed it was packed.
As we were walking up the driveway to the garage door we heard everyone cracking up and having a good time. Ray opened the door and the garage was full of friends socializing and family members playing cards. As I made my way further into the party I noticed people I haven't scene in years.
After getting a bit to eat Ray and I sat down at his Aunt Barb's table to play euchre. Ray and I were on a team VS. Aunt Barb & Janice. The first couple of games we lost then we switched partners. Then it was Janice & I VS. Aunt Barb & Ray.

A few hours later the party was dying down and we were ready to leave to get some rest before the hockey game tomorrow.
