Movies in the Park

At 1320 North Springs Park in Columbia. The movie that was shown was: Despicable Me, which is one of my ultimate favorite movies. My favorite line is from Agnes: "It's so fluffy!" If you haven't watched the movie I do highly recommend it for children and adults.

This was our first time attending Movies in the Park. We arrived early to help with setting up. Ray helped getting the screen up as well as tents. My main job was the drinks, getting them all out of the vehicle and into coolers with ice. When the event started it was time to get involved with our guests even though we were handing out drinks it was very important to build relations with them and invite them to our new service Sunday morning at our new location with our new series "Come Home".

It was great! I was able to meet some girls from Michigan. Actually two of the girls helping me serve drinks are from Michigan, one from Grand Rapids and the other from Ann Arbor. What a small world. And one of our guests heard me saying "Fanta" and she said "Your not from here are you"? I said "No". I said "I'm from Michigan, where are you from". She said "I'm from Michigan too, I actually lived in Lansing". No way I said! Again, what a small world.

We had such a great time but were drained from being out in the hot sun. We both were glad to be a part of Movies in the Park.
