This past weekend Ray went to Charlotte for a guys weekend. It was a weekend spent at the Hilton Hotel in Charlotte playing several different board games as well as his favorite Dungeons and Dragons. Several people come from all over for these special weekends. They have tables set up selling crafts, costumes and many more unique things. They also had a costume contest. Ray said their costumes were crazy as well as funny or just weird! Hes only been playing this game since last fall but seems to enjoy it very much.

After my Sunday morning at church I made my way toward Charlotte to meet up with Ray. When I arrived we went out for lunch on the boardwalk and enjoyed walking around in the heat and doing some window shopping. To cool down we went swimming in the pool at the hotel.

Monday morning our day was filled with fun and adventure. Breakfast at our favorite place: Chick-fil-A, me with the bagel chicken sandwich and Ray with the orgianl chicken biscuit with egg and cheese.
After our hearty breakfast it was time get all our luggage in the car and head to Carowinds. The place for people of all ages to have fun. It has rides for everyone to enjoy. Below is a few pictures from our fun day.

Thank Ray for planning this get together. I had lots of fun and hope we can do it again soon.
