Its Finally The Weekend

Friday was a wonderful day. It started with meeting my good friend Laura for lunch at Logan's Roadhouse. If you've never been you should stop in and try their signature salad since it was amazing.

Then I came home to relax and clean house a little. Ray decided to have a date night. We went and watched How to Train a Dragon in 3D. It was such a cute movie. The pet dragon reminded me of Milo. After the movie we came home and had our first campfire of the season. The night was so nice and peaceful as well as the sky. It was nice just to sit back and relax and spend quality time with my husband.

Saturday-met Laura at her house to go to yard sales around Anderson. This was my first time going to yard sales since I've moved down here and let me tell you it was amazing. I found some the best deals ever. If you know me I would rather go to a thrift store than buy full price for anything. You may think of that is being a cheap-sake but I think of it as getting my money's worth and I'm able to get more.

I started the day with $30 and spent every penny. Now your probably wondering...oh my gosh what did she spend it on, junk maybe? Absolutely not, I got incredible amazing stuff. Here is a list of all the items I purchased today:

Westside High School
(Relay for Life Fundraiser)
You had the option to fill a brown paper bag for only $5 or you could purchase the items for regular price. Well at first I didn't jump on the paper bag thing but as I was looking around I couldn't help but be amazed with all the nice clothing they had and my arms were starting to hurt with all the clothes and other stuff I had in my arms. You will be amazed when I list all I got just here for just $10. Please read and be amazed... here goes:

purple wallet
Abercrombie shorts
American eagle shorts
New York Co. (pink corduroys pants)
Aeropostale (blue and cream khakis)
Express capris
Express black dress pants
Gap Khacki
Old Navy jeans
Banana Republic jeans
Hanging makeup organizer/2small makeup bags
seashell bracelet
3 New York Co. sweaters
Gap casual shirt
New York Co. brown casual shirt
Liz Claiborn orange casual shirt
1 Dress
Blue dress up tank top
White casual tank top
Black polka dot dressy top

Got all of this just for a whopping $10. Can you believe it? To me, it was amazing and I felt so happy to get such good deals and at the same time it was for charity.

Then we went to Haven of Rest Thrift Store-which I've never been. Again, you will be surprised to what I found here.

Angel picture frame
Invitations
Vera Bradley picture frame
Thomas Kinkade decorative box
Hot Rollers (looked brand new for only $2)
Nike running shoes ($5, Wow that's just amazing in itself)
Straw seashell purse

Anderson Jockey Lot

Zebra Print purse for only $4. We found the same on at the mall for regular price $20 but marked down to $10 still got a better deal than that. Can you believe it. I bought all of these items only for $30. There is no way I could of got this much if I were to go to the mall...I maybe could of got one or two items and that would of been it. So if your not a bargain shopper why not start now.

After the day full of shopping and girl bonding time, it was time to go home. Ray (the best husband ever) went grocery shopping, bought me flowers, and made me the best meal I've had in a long time. He made mushrooms with shrimp on the grill and catfish and steak. For dessert I had apple cobbler with whip cream. The whole time I kept saying "This is amazing, this is amazing, have I told you how amazing you are". Thank you Ray for the wonderful meal and just being you. Love you lots!!!!
