Friends, BBQ's and Mexican Food

Last weekend we had the pleasure of going over to our friends, Lee and Whitney Moody's house for a BBQ. It had been a while since we'd seen each other last so it was nice to catch up and to see their little one, Landon. We each brought a dish to pass. The menu consisted of: salad, chips with dip, steaks, sweet potatoes, ice cream sandwich dessert, veggies, and etc. Here are some pictures of our visit.

















Sunday afternoon the Radas invited us out to lunch for Mexican. If y'all know me, you know I love Mexican and if you know Ray you know you know that he loves to try new entrees at restaurants even if it isn't their signature dish. Can you guess what he ordered? Probably not, I ordered the Texas Fajitas - with shrimp, chicken, and steak, and can you guess what Ray ordered. Ray ordered CATFISH! Laura and Travis were shocked when he ordered catfish at a Mexican restaurant. By the time Laura and Travis had gotten their food it was about another 10min or so before we got our food. We were all making jokes about the catfish like: maybe they had to run to Ingles to buy the catfish or they probably forgot they had catfish on the menu. Even after all the jokes about the catfish it was amazing. Enjoy the pictures.
