Tuesday with the Schraubens

Tuesday, we took a trip to Grenville. Our first stop was Garden Ridge (the home decorating store). Ray and I got new Christmas decorations for the tree, LED lights and new bulbs. He had said "Now that we have the LED lights you can leave the Christmas tree on all the time since it doesn't use that much energy and we'll leave it up until February". So, last night we re-decorated our tree, it looks great!

After our shopping spree at Garden Ridge we ventured to Reedy Park for a walk and had a picnic.





As we entered Anderson Ray had asked if they still wanted to go pick pecans at Electrolux. So we veered to the left off on Hwy 29 toward Electrolux. We arrived and Janice, Steve, and Barb were excited. There weren't many pecans.


After picking pecans we did some more shopping. We went to Family Dollar, Big Lots, and Burk's Outlet. I bought them souvenir shirts so when they wear it they can think of us.

When we finished shopping we were ready to get home and get a good hearty meal and just relax. Ray and his family played poker into late in the night. Ray was the big winner of the night.
