Christmas with the Shraubens

Ray's mom, aunt and uncle arrived at our place Sunday December 27th. We're always excited when they come. Sunday, was our 1st day. We had invited a few friends over to watch the Clemson Bowl game. Janice, Steve and Barb were so helpful to entertain our friends and make them feel welcome. Thanks for helping.
Monday, our day was filled with going to the grocery store to get ingredients to learn how to make the chocolate pie, a family recipe. Uncle Steve taught me how to make a homemade pie crust and Janice (Ray's mom) taught me the rest of the recipe. Hopefully, I'll be able to do it for Ray's birthday in February. The rest of the day was filled with playing euchre, which is a Schrauben family tradition.









Janice and I both realized we had the same jeans on, so we had to take a picture. Aren't we cute.
