Camping Part 2

After listening to the Bluegrass music and finished eating our ice cream it was time to get back to our camp site. On our drive back we encountered a visitor driving out as we were driving in. It was a big chucky white man by himself...well we thought he was alone, but didn't know if he had dropped someone off in the woods or what he had been doing? Was he at our campsite? Where did he go?Meaning to say where we were camping was out in the middle of no where, you turn off the main road onto to this dirt road and you go about a mile or two then turn left and drive some more and then we park our vehicle and then we unpack and start working to our campsite. As we get out, Ray gets the flash light as we start walking I tell him I'm scared, he says "I'm scared too". When he said that he was scared...that was what really scared me because he is not usually scared. We made it back to the camp site Ray started building the bon fire, and we got our Jammie's on. The fire started going and we were relaxing in the tent on our air mattress. I noticed Ray didn't feel right he wasn't acting the same ever since we arrived back. I said to him "Are you ok". He says "Isn't it hot in here". I said "yeah I guess so...". So we opened the screen door so we could get some air which there wasn't a lot of air coming through. I could tell he still feel like he didn't feel right about it. So I asked "do you want to go home"? He didn't answer he just starting to get his regular clothes on and was cleaning up the camp site and packing all of our belongings in a hurry. I took that as a yes...I started getting my regular clothes back on and packing everything up with him. If Ray would go to the camp fire he would want me to go with him and hold the flash light as well as going back and forth to the tent. Ray was hurrying, he wasn't slowing down for me, he didn't put the tent back in the bag, we didn't put the air mattress up, Ray just wrapped it all up together and he dumped all the ice out of the cooler and started packing everything in there as much as he could fit. Ray got everything loaded and packed...now it was time to get out of there. I think Ray was having a panic attack, he had the tent around his arms and the cooler filled with all of our belongings...on our walk back to the truck was very scary I just kept saying please God just get us out of here...I was holding the flashlight on the walk out of the woods. How I was holding the flashlight it kinda reminded us of the Blair Witch Project movie...since the flashlight kept moving around like crazy. I kept freaking myself out thinking that I saw a dead body or a person or thinking that somebody would jump out of the woods and get us...as we got closer I didn't know if Ray was going to make it...he couldn't breath that well, his heart was pounding, I just kept saying were just about there it will be ok, just over this hill then were there. We made it to the truck and still Ray really hasn't said anything to me...He said "Just get everything in the truck and lets go". Now we were safe and sound and on our way out of the woods. I don't know if I mentioned but the roads back here were very curvy and narrow, and it was pitch black out there. I was just hoping and praying no other vehicle would be out there because we would have to back up and all I could see was the truck going of the cliff and that would be it for our camping trip. No other vehicle was out there again and we finally made it to the main road. Then I asked Ray "What is wrong are you okay, I thought you were having a heart attack or something". He said "No I'm fine it just didn't feel right to stay out there and I could tell that you didn't feel okay since I was feeling anxious or something. He felt bad, since he was so excited about it and he said "how am I going to take my kids camping someday". I said "Don't worry about it we will start in the background then gradually work our way up to an actual campsite instead of out in the middle of no where (The Woods).
We made it home safe and sound but it was pretty scary getting out of there.
