Camping Part 1

This past weekend was a mini vacation for me. It was fall break for the students for Clemson so that meant I got a 4 day weekend. I really wanted to go bow hunting with my brother in NC but now wasn't the right time to drive all that way and to spend the money. So, I decided to stay home and relax. Ray decided to take me camping bring me back to nature. I've been really homesick lately and he thought this would cheer me up, which it did. It was beautiful out there, the leaves started changing. On the ride up it felt like were driving up to the U.P. it was just so beautiful. We finally arrived, Ray starting putting the tent up and I found a nice rock and started reading Eclipse the 3rd book in the Twilight series. I was hoping I would finish and be able to start the 4th when I got back to home...but if you know me you know I'm a slow reader and well I didn't finish. Ray started fishing, walking in the creek, and I was so relaxed eating my snacks Ray made for me and reading about Bella and Edward. While Ray was off fishing mother nature called and I had to go NOW - if you know me you know me and going potty out in the woods doesn't normally work. But this I couldn't deny what my body was telling me it was time to go. So I grabbed the paper and it was time for me to find a spot. I was trying to spot Ray to ask him where I should go, but I couldn't see Ray and there wasn't anytime left. So I just started walking down this path and went. I was so proud I actually did it. But I was freaking myself out in the process. Have any of you watch 1,000 ways to die? All I could think of was a snack or something biting me in the process and I'm a goner. But I kept saying let me just get through this please god don't let anything happen to me. Now, that y'all are reading this you know I made it!
Anyways, I went back to reading...When Ray was done fishing we decided to hiking on the paths through the woods. It was so beautiful out there it felt like home! After our hiking was done it was time to go into town and listen to some good ol' bluegrass music and get some hot food! I really wanted French Fries...but Ray said I don't think they have any.
