Happy Easter

We as American celebrated one of the most important holidays of the year: Easter. You may of noticed your church pews more fill today with all the families dressed up to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord. Some of you may of participated in an Easter egg hunt close by to your home or even coloring your own eggs. Most of you were more than likely with close family and friends. What an important day to remember what God has done for us not only just on Easter but every day we walk with him.

The McCallister's didn't get the pleasure of living close by family to celebrate but we took advantage of friends close by to celebrate. Easter Sunday was our contemporary worship service at our church. We both are on the team to make this service a steady and uplifting experience.

Even though we don't live close by to family our new friends don't have family close by either, so we took them out to celebrate this wonderful holiday. We took them to our favorite Chinese place in Columbia, its a buffet, and it has the best selection of food that is fresh and hot. Then it was time for us kids to have some fun.

You may say fun, on a Sunday? And I reply with a yes! You may ask where? And I reply with The Royal Z Lanes just down the road from the restaurant. We played 3 games and had a ball letting ourselves go and getting to know each other better.

Like I said earlier even though we weren't around close family that didn't stop us from celebrating this important holiday. I hope all my readers, family and close friends had a great time on their Easter.
