Bubba's Blog: January Girls Weekend

Every now and then Ray has a guys weekend.If I tell you what his guys weekends consist of he may get embarrassed or feel like I'm telling you too much. But anyways he is a gamer and has been his whole life. He attends these events to play all sorts of games and meets new friends as well. It may be near as Columbia or far as High Point North Carolina.

This past January he had a guys weekend which meant a girls weekend for me. When I knew he was going to be out of town I let my girlfriend Amber know ASAP to see if she was free. She was FREE to spend the weekend with me, which made me very happy. Friday night was Little Caesars Pizza with re-runs of Grey's Anatomy.

Saturday we both slept in and ate leftover pizza for breakfast. We did what girls normally do, girl talk, do nails and watch re-runs of our favorite shows. The evening was spent at Cross Hill Market in downtown Columbia. A close friend of my had event for work and we weren't going to miss it. They had live music, food trucks (with great food)other than the weather being cold we all had a great time.

After our great time at the Cross Hill Market, my friend Amber and I went to Sandhills to see Joyful Noise, which I highly recommend. If you like Dolly Parton & Queen Latifah you know it will be good.
