I know it has been more than a month since my last post and I am very sorry for not keeping my readers updated. My last recent post was an invitation for my Fall Food Drive. I wanted to let you know how the outcome was.
Exterior Dreams & Seamless Gutters Staff
(Jessica, Chuck, John, Chris & Andrew)
We began at 7am and it lasted till noon at the K-Mart parking lot here in Camden. If you donated any piece of non-perishable item you would receive a FREE sausage sandwich or hot dog. We also had live entertainment from 10am-noon. Most of everyone came later due to the weather.
Rusty Davis & His Band
Everyone Dancing
When people would drop off their bags of food; we would box the food and weigh each box. We had a huge goal this year but I know next year we will be able to reach it. We raised 1500 pounds of food. Our trailer was about half full and we all were very excited. As soon as the drive ended we went directly to the food pantry and delivered all the food. They were very happy! They said this is the most food they've received with a food drive. We were happy we could help.
