Darlington County's Oldest and Largest Corn Maze
If you're looking for inexpensive outing visit the corn maze in Darlington. It is only $7 per person to go into the mazes and do everything else they offer.
Last year for Halloween we went to the haunted trail and a haunted house in Camden. Due to me getting scared, screaming and running from the chainsaw guy. Ray decided to take me to the corn maize since its not so scary and its during daylight.
The Pim Farm has two corn maizes. One is shaped like an Indian which we did first and the second is the SC State Symbol. As you enter each maze you receive a piece of paper that asks you questions when you get to each point (1-10), when you answer the question it says which direction to go. You also receive another piece of paper stating: different animal sayings, such as horseshoe or piggy bank and many more. When you reach point (1-10) there will be a picture on the sign and you have to pick what saying goes with each point. When you've finished the maize you turn in the paper that has all the animal sayings, print your name, email address, and you are entered into a drawing.
This place doesn't just have corn maizes they have many more fun things to do. You can also do: put put golf, disk golf, wagon rides, corn hole, and walk on the hiking trail.
Pim Farms is a beautiful and fun place to spend your day. It is way back off the road in the woods but its great. Your able to forget about your worries or stresses and enjoy the outdoors and fresh country air. I look forward to going back next year.
Thanks to my husband for an adventurous morning, time well spent and money well spent.
Love Bubba
