Myrtle Beach Weekend

This past weekend was a spent with some of my favorite people: The Mixons. My brother (David), sister-n-law (Liane), and my niece (Brittney). It was my nieces last softball tournament and my first one I've made it too. I was excited I was gonna be able to get away from work from a weekend and especially that it was at the beach.

Friday morning, I had to work the lunch shift at Texas Roadhouse, so I wasn't able to leave as early as I wanted to. Well, as you know it we were SLOW, I wasn't making any money, had told the manager I was hoping I could get out early due to my weekend at the beach. But where my tables were, I actually had to stay on longer till the next shift came on. So I didn't end up leaving from work till 4ish, came home to pack and on the road by 5ish.

On the road again! Myrtle Beach here I come! I was starving...wasn't sure what I wanted and didn't want to stop anywhere to waste time from getting to the beach as fast as possible. So I settled for my usual peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, but I did get myself my favorite potato chips (Salt and Vinegar). Never used to like them when growing up, but know they are my fav.

Arrived at the Monterey Bay Suites about 8ish and was ready to go out for a good meal! My family had eaten dinner earlier but they still went out with me. My brother and niece ordered dessert which was delicious, a fudge caramel brownie. I'd been wanting a good meal, I ordered an 8oz steak, loaded mashed potatoes, and a house salad. The steak wasn't that good, but the two sides made up for it.

Last day of the ball tournament. We didn't win the tournament but the last two games the girls played really well.
