Our first Haunted House and Hayride we did together
This past weekend Ray, myself, his buddy Johnny and Heather (his wife) we all went to Scream Acres in Bishopville, which is about 20 miles away from Camden. If you've never heard of Scream Acres before, they have a haunted house as well as a haunted hayride through the woods. We all had decided to go after dinner we had with Ray and Johnny's company called Haier.
We all went back to our homes to change and Johnny and Heather picked us up. Heather kept trying to call Scream Acres to see how long the wait would be but there was no answer.
Finally, we had arrived, paid got our tickets and waited in line. We arrived there about 10:30PM, and didn't go in the haunted house till midnight. On our way out to Scream Acres we didn't meet a car on the road but when we arrived the parking lot was full.
Before even coming here I had told Ray, Johnny, and Heather about my past experience about going to a haunted trail with my nieces two years ago. I was horrified, I ended up pushing Courtney down, screaming, running out of there, lost my favorite hat and didn't go back. So, I wanted them to know if this one was as scary as the other one I had been on. They said it wasn't that scary but they hadn't been there in five years so a lot could of have changed.
After waiting in line for approximately an hour and half we got to go into the haunted house. We had to go in a single line so Johnny went fist, Heather next, then me, and last was Ray. As we entered it was completely black, it felt like a maze, I kept a hold of Heathers coat, it felt like the ceiling was getting lower but didn't know for sure but I kept bending over like it was.
As we got out of the darkness there was a lady there with a flashlight asking us if they was anyone else behind us. She pointed us to the right direction to go, and off we went. We went into this room, with an old lady in a rocking chair beating her cane on the floor screaming, and a possessed child dressed in black jumped out and scared me.
The next room was a kitchen area...wasn't as scary but as we were leaving I saw a guy get back into the freezer.
Next was a tunnel room with a laser light with a bridge you had to walk over but you had to look down. It felt like you were walking lop sided, I kept hitting the side of the bridge. This was the coolest room.
After that there was the chainsaw guys which I hated on my last experience. But as I was walking out I spotted them and ran before they could scare me.That didn't stop them because they ended up chasing me anyway.
Then onto the haunted hayride....it was more like a haunted ride because they wasn't much hay on the trailer.
The driver of the haunted hayride would stop at each different stations back in the woods, one of the was HELL (which really looked like it) all the people had masks on, was dressed up, and would walk around the trailer scary you putting their faces right next to yours.
Next was a psych ward. There was a dead body on a medical examiner table, girls behind bars.
After this we went through a laser on the trees and on the ground. It was beautiful, it looked like they hung lights all over the woods.
The last stop was the scariest for me. Don't remember what it was called, but there was a guy dressed up like the Joker (which scared me when I watched that movie) he was also holding a chainsaw (another thing that scares me). He noticed I was scared of him and kept running the chainsaw right in front of my face trying to scare me (which worked), I gripped Ray's arm and tucked my head in tight. I was horrified!
We all had a GREAT time didn't finish till 1:30AM!
