4th of July Weekend





Our holiday weekend was spent at home. Friday night we went to Greenville to listen to live music at the heritage park amphitheater and to watch fireworks. Ray bought new lawn chairs for the event so we didn't have to sit on the ground. As we arrived where I thought it was nobody was there. I felt bad that I dragged him all the way up to Greenville and I couldn't even find the place but we had a good time anyways. We walked on Main Street downtown and found a live band (wasn't the one I had in mind) but busted our chairs out and watched for awhile. The best part was watching the drunk people dance. We noticed these friends, there was two guys and girl that reminded us so much of Seinfeld (the show). There was a tall guy (Kramer) he had on goofy clothes, a top hat, flip flops, and he was breaking it down. The girl was hilarious too, because (drunk) out of it too, and was trying to dance. I guess you just had to be there. On the drive home I asked Ray if we could stop at Wal-Mart (even though we both hate shopping there) so I could get a red white and blue bathing suit. He goes ok, I guess. He wasn't too thrilled that we went but I was glad I got a patriotic bathing suit.
Sunday night we went up to the church for hot dogs, homemade ice cream, softball game, and fireworks. Ray had so much fun playing in the game especially getting 3 home runs! Pastor had said next time your on my team.
