Midnight Movie Madness

My fellow readers, have any of you been to a midnight movie before? If so, what movie? What were your thoughts on the movie and would you go to a midnight showing again?

Can y'all guess what movie? I'm sure y'all can since it was the best all time movie in a long time, yes it was "The Hobbit"! Ray had scene all the previous at midnight so I thought why stop the tradition know why not go. Being that it was a Thursday night and we had to go to work the next day. We talked about it for 30 minutes and decided we were going to go, so we both took naps (well I did mostly) since Ray was so excited about seeing the movie.

Before we left the house Ray had the great idea of purchasing our tickets online so we wouldn't have to stand and wait in line. As we arrived we noticed we didn't purchase the 3-D tickets like we wanted with the bigger and nicer theatre. So we changed our tickets and went to find good seats. We made our way in the theatre and you wouldn't believe how many people were there already, which probably had gotten there at at least 2 hours early to get a good seat.

After we found our seats. I set out for snacks and drinks! Then we were ready for midnight! After all the 100 previews (well that's what it felt like) the movie finally started! And me not being a big Lord of the Rings fan the movie was great! It was filmed in New Zealand (beautiful scenery) and the story was great! We both highly recommend this movie.

On our way home we stopped at Waffle House for breakfast at 3:30AM. We each ordered a breakfast entree and it was very delicious  Finishing our meal I made the comment to Ray that I wanted to give our waitress a really good tip, since it was late and we were the only ones in there besides a customer that had fallen asleep in his booth and who knows how long he had been in there. The best part about it was I got to see her face when she saw how much she received and it was PRICELESS! This was the best Christmas Present!
