Rewind to the Revolutionary War

Welcome November, the month full of thanksgiving and family. The first weekend here in Camden was spent going back in history to the Revolutionary War. Here in Camden, the site is still here where the battle was fought. Each year they do a reenactment, and this year the McCallister's were there cheering on the Patriots! It was all so real, there was tents sent up on the Patriots and British side with beds inside with all their belongings. The people that were there doing the reenactment had to follow the rules of how they lived during that time such as, cooking, cleaning, dress, and etc. Below are a few pictures from our weekend at war.

The first few pictures are how people lived during this time

The second day at the Revolutionary War was spent going to the American church service at 10:30. After the American service we went to the German church service, and everything was in German. We both noticed that it doesn't matter what language the service is in because God knows.

After the service we tried some of the baked goods and tried to see everything before they ended for the day.

Thank you to all the patriots that fought in the Revolutionary War for freedom for our country!

To all you locals that haven't been to the reenactment y'all should go next year and bring all your family and friends for lots of fun!
