Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Last Sunday after church the girls from my community group came over to have fun in the sun at Kendall Lake in Camden. Ray did the honors of grilling the best venison burgers, and I cut up fresh watermelon and made banana pudding for dessert.

After our lunch it was time to lather on the sunscreen. I'm a stickler for sunscreen. You can have fun in the sun and get a tan while wearing sunscreen. I was happy that everyone was putting on sunscreen because I hate to see people get burnt.

Each of the girls brought their own floats and had to blow them up. Kendra brought Jack the Turtle (he was awesome, everyone at the lake loved him), Misti brought a blue tube, Tabitha brought a black tube (she had a hard time blowing it up), Allison brought noodles and I had my regular blue raft which was already blown up by Ray because I'm terrible with blowing up floats.

Finally, time to venture out onto Kendall Lake. As we arrived there were a few Red-Necks in the water. As we got in we floated far away and enjoyed our time together. It was much needed relaxing time for each of us girls and it was nice to get to know each other better. We all floated around the lake at least 3 hours with no one getting burnt, which was a success.

Thanks girls for coming over and spending the day with me. We will defiantly have to do it again before the summer ends.
