This past week was the 1st week on the job. Monday and Tuesday I worked during the day and Wednesday started my regular hours 6pm-2am. Tuesday since I got out of work early Ray decided to take me out to celebrate the new job. He let me pick out my own place I wanted to eat at Super Taco in Clemson but it closed at eight (no way we could of made it there on time). So we settled for a Mexican place close to where we live and let me tell you its good but it doesn't compare to Super Taco!
Then he also treated me to a movie, he wanted me to try to staying up late so I would be able to stay up late for work. Well, the movie we chose was "The Goods" about the car dealerships-let me tell you it was the worst movie ever! Absolutely horrible-we walked out! We both thought it would have been funny by looking at the previews but we were wrong, don't go SEE this movie!

Onto Wednesday: 1st night alone well not totally alone because I had Gary there to help me count down the drawer, since this was my real 1st night by myself. Gary was very detailed and help me understand, thanks for your patience. Thursday-this night I was all alone well not all alone but just alone to count down the drawer! It was very slow for business since Thursday is the new Friday for students it felt like the night was never going to end, but as soon as it did I counted the drawer down and we were out of there by 1:30 and home by 2:00.
After working the first week I was kinda nervous if this was the right job for me and if I was making the right decision. Its something completely different than I'm used to, staying on your feet, staying up late, and making coffee. Also the working hours, but I think I handled it pretty good. In the end I think I'm gonna really like this job! Onto my second week!
