New Full Time Job

If you've been keeping up to date on my posting you remember reading how I accepted a new job within the last month at: Exterior Dreams and Seamless Gutters. Within the past month of me starting the job was part time only 8-2. My boss recently offered me full time a couple of weeks ago. When he offered me full time I was very excited and thrilled to have REAL job again!

With me only being here about a month we've already had a company dinner at Lugoff House of Pizza. We all enjoyed each others company and the pizza is so delicious!

Being that I started working full time as soon as he offered it to me I didn't quite quit my job at the restaurant. While working at Sam Kendall's it isn't the same as working at any other restaurant. You have a great clientele, great co-workers, no side-work, and you make great tips. So this is why I struggled with the decision on what to do.

After working each job for a couple of weeks I've come to a decision. During those couple of weeks, I had to stay late at the restaurant with not getting home till about 11, one night making $12, and waiting for guests to show up when my last table left at 9:15. This lead me to believe its not worth my nights working when I could be spending time with Ray or my girlfriends or working on training for my 5K or anything else more fun than serving tables.

So here it goes, I gave Same Kendall's my two week notice. My last day will be tomorrow Tuesday August 2nd. No more serving tables and putting up with rude or snooty people. But I am very grateful for the opportunity the owner gave me and what I've learned and where it brought me today. He did ask if I would like to work 2 nights a week, but I said no thanks.

Thanks to God for opening a new door and helping me make the right decision.
