R & J Update

Ray and I are doing well. If you haven't heard I'm back in school for this semester. I'm not a full time student or anything but I am taking a math class to get into the Radiology program at the An Med Hospital here in Anderson. My class started Jan 11-and ends March 1st, so its going to be quick and hopefully painless. So far the class hasn't been too bad. All of my homework and tests are done online. The class is two days a week Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:20-4:15. I've had my moments of doing homework feeling stupid and not thinking I can do it or handle it but Ray has been there to guide me through it and tutor me if I have any questions. As of right now I'm doing well in the class, 100%.

As far as the Radiology programs go I have to fill out the application get my high school transcript, my college transcript, ACT scores, as well as the transcript for the class I am taking now. Next month they are having an information session about the program as well as in March. To get into the program they base it on a point system from your grades and etc, as well as interviewing you. They only accept 15 applicants each year, I hope I will be one of them this year. I'll find out in April. It is a two year program starts July 1, 2010 and runs year round, you still get your holidays off but from what I hear it is hard core. The tuition is only $2,000 a year but that doesn't include your uniform and books, so probably total will be $3,000 which isn't too bad for school. The reason why I picked this field is because it is always there and I felt it would be a good move for Ray and I. Please pray that I'll do good.

Ray is ray...the best husband ever. He's been making me breakfast chocolate chip pancakes my new fav (I think he is trying to fatten me up) as well as cooking dinner chicken and rice and many more dishes. He treats me so good. I am so glad God blessed me with a great husband and friend. I don't know where I would be without him.

Prayer Request
Please pray for my mom. She hasn't been feeling well ever since she went to Florida in October. She had went to many doctors at Urgent Cares, then gave in and found a family doctor since she would see a new doctor at Urgent Care and they didn't understand what was going on, not paying attention to her. So she found a doctor...he gave her a prescription that had steroid in it (she is allergenic) but the doctor told her it doesn't have enough in it to hurt you...so she took it. Ever since that shes been getting worse. Shes been back to the doctor and has tests done they say she has Rheumatoid Arthritis, her feet have been swollen where her shoes won't fit, as well as her fingers and hands. The medicine for the Arthritis has many side affects that scares my mom...doctor said this medicine is usually given to cancer patients, and said it may make your hair fall out. My mom decided not to take the medicine and may cause other problems...but please pray for her healing.
